Storage is always an issue in workshops. My options here are very limited, as I want to be able to use the garage for parking a car. With the garage being only 2.90m wide, storage cabinets along the walls are not possible. The only available space is high up, but the ceiling being only 2.2m tall, even here space is limited to a single shelf.
I built two shelves using the side panels from a collapsed Ikea Billy bookcase, these are approx. 2m long. I mounted each one on four Ikea Sibbhult brackets. These cost only €0.50 each, meaning that the total cost for the shelving was €4.I also bought a couple of Ikea Gles boxes at €0.99 each that hold loose items. They will receive labels to make it easier to find stuff.
